FROM MARK O'ROWE, CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED WRITER OF INTERMISSION, HOWIE THE ROOKIE, AND OUR FEW AND EVIL DAYS

Mark O'Rowe's darkly humorous and poetic Made in China is set in an alternative Dublin underworld. When the affable but stupid Paddy visits his friend Hughie to watch Chinese import action movies, the appearance of local gang lieutenant Kilby upsets the evening's plans. In this twisted tale of Kung-Fu, prosthetic legs, and Nik Nak 'crips', a longstanding friendship turns into an opportunity for ambitious vendetta with serious consequences.

'a powerful night of theatre'

- the examiner

THE EXAMINER:

'A powerful night of theatre, one that crackles and bristles with a palpable energy [...] A young, energetic, and fearless company.'

NO MORE WORKHORSE:

'Seldom does one come away from a theatre with such a feeling of such complete satisfaction...this is powerful and compelling...I urge you not to miss it.'

THE INDEPENDENT:

'A coal-black comedy [...] Wildly, outrageously, sickeningly funny...it ain't pretty, and funny though it is, it also ain't for the faint-hearted.'
